Gazelle Global Turns 25!

gg-25th-anniversary-blog

Gazelle has turned 25! We started celebrating our 25th anniversary with a team lunch last August. We were humbled by the recognition of our 25 years with a surprise “Sparkling” dessert at the WIRe lunch at ESOMAR 2018 and an awesome cake at WIRe’s NY networking event. We continued to celebrate with a graffiti wall and champagne toast at Quirks NY in early 2019.

Gazelle Global Grafitti WallAs our 25th year now comes to a close, we reflect on what a ride it has been and continues to be. We are thankful for the clients who have become partners and friends, the relationships we have made across the globe, and the adventures we have had working across 6 continents. Over the span of years, there have been too many conferences to count, more than a dozen ESOMAR Congresses, several logos (this one is our newest and favorite), websites (check it out), and we are now in our 5th office.

We took the specs for our first project in a phone booth 25 years ago because our office space wasn’t ready, and we are proud to say Chuck is still a client! That office was on the 8th floor, suite 808. We moved two times in that building, 708 and 1108. Our phone number is (212) 686 - 8808 so we decided long ago 8 was our lucky number!

Gazelle is a client-focused organization that takes pride and ownership in the quality and integrity of our work. We have our team to thank for the trust our clients place in us. The Yankees had a Core 4; Gazelle has a Core 18. Simply put, our entire team is amazing.

Over the years, we've been asked many times where the name Gazelle came from and here is our explanation. Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up. It knows it must outrun the fastest lion or it will be killed. Every morning in Africa a lion wakes up. It knows it must run faster than the slowest gazelle or it will starve. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a lion or a gazelle… when the sun comes up you’d better be running!

These 25 years have been a privilege and the journey has been awesome. And yes, we are still running!
